Project news: Marceline in Cameroon

Project news: Marceline's visit to Cameroon.

When The David Hoyle Foundation was founded, one of its main objectives was the support of educational and environmental projects in Cameroon. One of the priority projects that the foundation has been keen to progress is maintenance and improvements to the schools in Nguti, Marceline's home town in Cameroon.

Marceline has been planning a trip to Nguti to assess the situation and discuss the project with the school, the authorities, local builders, etc. She was able to undertake this trip in early April. This also allowed her family to hold a Mass Service to celebrate David's life. This was followed by a reception to mark the launch of the foundation in Cameroon itself. VIPs and guests were invited to the event, which was well attended. The event received coverage in the newspapers. This is shown below.

A video of the day was also produced and can be seen by clicking here.

While in Cameroon, Marceline also took the opportunity to visit other possible projects which the foundation could help. Check out the images below.
